Artist Statement

“A mind without fear is capable of great love.”
-Inuit saying

Since childhood I have been fascinated by the beauty and mystery of the natural world. As my work evolves, I am looking for ways to express this wonder and my deep concern about the fragility of our environment. I look at myth, the history of man’s relationship to nature, and the actual landscapes, plants, and animals around me for inspiration. I feel that I have just begun to find my way and am excited about future work.
